Obscure Series of the Week,Double Trouble.

No, we don't have two two series this week.Although I should to make up for the lack of one last week. What we have here is a cute little nugget from the 1980's starring two cute little nuggets,Jean and Liz Segal as what else?,Identical Twins. And as usual with twin shows One was serious and the other was, well off the wall and wacky(think Patty Duke, and Zack and cody). In the series the girls lived with their widowed father in des monies Iowa and revolved around the twins high school hijinks and their father dance studio. The latter as gimmick to show off the twins real life dancing skills. It never recieved high ratings in it's inital run, but was picked up as a mid season replacement for it's second season, where it was heavily retooled ala the Torkelsons(I swear that I'm the only one who remembers that show.)I think it may or maynot have been part of NBC's prime time moves to 7:30 stunt back in the 80's(Another thing only I remember).
Enjoy

I would have to agree...you may be the only one to remember, I know I don't...but they again, I was still only a child back then....

Thanks for the obscure TV referance though...I spent about a good hour in search of an obsure show from the 80's today as well, amazing how very few people remember the shows that did not take off.

Wouldn't Married With Children been better if Al was molesting Katy Segal's sisters?

Am I sensing a Vampire themed week? First that hideous woman and her twin puppet above and now that mechanic seems to be biting the neck of the woman in the red top in the video's promo picture. How bout a week of young boys and their puppets, ala... a real Puppetboy show? Or some Mexican whores with donkeys would be entertaining as well.
