Creepy and Disturbing.

This week on C&D Michael Jackson(with a little bit of Milli Vannili) lookalike Dion Mial and his special little friend Gary(Whatchu Talknbout Willis) Coleman perform the (c)rap classic "The Outlaw and the Indian" on the"Wil Shriner ShowNow Wil Shriner alone would've been creepy enough yet trow in these two and you got the most agonizing Danny Cooksey-less moment of Eighties T.V. ever. Not oly is something not right about the fact that this grown man is hanging out with this little dude, but the fact that the're playing cowboy just ups the creepiness factor.

Obscure series of the week, The Good Life

The Good Life is an NBC sitcom that aired in the spring of 1994 . It starred John Caponera, Eve Gordon, Shay Astar, Justin Berfield ,Monty Hoffman and some guy named Drew Carey .The show revolved around Caponera's character's home life and the lock company where he worked in Chicago.
Thirteen episodes were produced and aired. Thankfully the sitcom was cancelled in 1994.All I can say is crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap,crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap,crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap,crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap,crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap,crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap,crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap,crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap,crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap,crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap,crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap,crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap,crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap,crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap,crap, crap,crap crap crap,crap crap.I blame yuppie garbage like this for the demise of the sitcom and the rise of the evil known as Reality T.V.I don't even think that a"Very Special" episode where Gordon Jump plays a bicycle sop owner(or Maytag Man)who molests Drew Carey would've saved this show.

Creepy and Disturbing

This week on C&D we have a commercial strait out of the Uncanny Valley featuring a very Zombie-Like CGI recreation of former Who'd Win? contender Orville Redenbacher. Here Orville or Mr.R as I'm sure some folk call him makes his first Posthumous appeance due to some Jar-Jar Binks-Like(gee there's a new adjective) special effects. And man is it freakin' creepy although this should not come as much of a surprise since the real Orville Redenbacher is creepy enough.I don't know who in their right mind would think this would make people run out and buy popcorn, Anyway enjoy.

Obscure series of the week the Fitzpatricks

This week on OSotW we have anoter family show but instead of an 80's cheeseball sitcom this time we have a more mellow 70's family drama The Fitzpatricks(No relation to Maddie) was a short lived series which ran on CBS during the 1977-78 season.
The Fitzpatricks were an Irish Catholic family of six who lived in Flint, Michigan.
Mike Fitzpatrick (Bert Kramer) was a steelworker who often worked overtime to provide a life for the family; while his pregnant wife,(Whom I assume was knocked up through the entire series since it was so short lived.)Maggie (Mariclare Costello) also worked part time at a diner as a waitress to help with the family's income. They had four children 2 sons, Sean (Clark Brandon)and Jack (Jimmy McNichol Kristies Brother); only daughter Maureen nicknamed Mo (Michele Tobin) and youngest son, Max (Sean Marshall). The family also had a dog, named Detroit. Rounding out the cast was R.J. (Rodney allen Rippey clone Derek Wells),who was Max's best friend. A young Helen Hunt(long before she was fighting Trancers or was Mad aout anything) played neighbor, Kerry Gerardi a friend of Mo's,

This show lasted only thirteen episodes, and was cancelled in 1978,which I'm not surprised since it seemed kinda dull maybe they could of spiced it up a bit by adding a new cast member like Rip Taylor as the semi-retarded uncle Zeke whom they kept locked in the attic.Or they could've had the Fitzpacktricks battling aliens or zombies ,Yeah Zombies that sounds cool.Anyway enjoy!

Obscure Series of the Week, The Charmings.

The Charmings was one of those crappy ABC late eighties p.o.s. shows(although compared to todays reality crap it's a freakin masterpiece)that aired during their TGIF lineup. The Seiers ran from March 87 to Febuary 88.It centered around fairy tale characters Snow White and Prince Charming along with their kids transpoted to 1980's california.throw in a Dwarf(only one this time), the afore mentioned stepmother and a magic mirror played by Star Trek notable Paul Winfield without a bug in his ear,and you got yourself one crappy late eitgies T.V. show.Fortunately for us all the series was cancelled when ABC moved it from their popular Joey Gladsone haunt TGIF and moved it to thursday oppposite that Jello pudding pop guy.Although they had plenty of secend rate programming to replace it.
