A seventies short-lived sitcom starring who else but, McLean Stevenson as Mac Ferguson,
a hardware store owner living with his wife, Peggy; Peggy's mother;
his adult son, Chris; his divorced daughter,Janet; and Janet's sons, David and Jason.Sort of a "Full House" before there was a "Full House",this series was one of many of McLean's post M.A.S.H. attempts along with Hello Larry and Condo(see Sitcom Diablo's shortlived).Unfortunately no Kim Richards in this one.But anyway enjoy

I wish I had a nice family growing up. My Mom was drunk all the time and me and my big Sis would sit up in the field behind the house under the power lines and watch the stars come out as it got dark. Why don't they make shows like that? Tell me Puppetboy? How does a kind and just God allow things like that to happen? I just want a lady who will love me, make me pancakes and eggs in the morning and some supper in the evening. Have my own little feller to watch a ball game with. Not a little basterd like that Ken Jr. And Ed Harris would be safely locked up in jail where he couldn't hurt us. We'd all be safe in our little gingerbread house. Why does God ignor me, Puppetboy? I deserve happiness, I touch children's hearts with my gift of song.
Wasn't McLean Stevenson killed when his helicopter was shot down over Korea?
Yes but the T.V. gods were kind to him and he was reincarnated as Larry Alder.Plus he got to act alongside Kim Richards
Very true, but Kim Richards is sorry she got fat. Those Quarter Pounders put pounds on her.
Pat, tell your friend, Kissper to take a cold shower and seek some help.
Wait, was Kim Richards the girl in that movie Escape to North Rock?
